Description

This role is a key position in Finance Centre of Excellence (FCoE) with responsibility for driving, delivering and supporting the financial control team with both internal transformation and inbound business projects. The individual must be able to successfully work in a dynamic and fast environment to assess, manage and deliver projects, global best practise and efficiency throughout the financial control team. 
The role will be working with a broad range of business areas. The successful individuals ability to building strong working relationships with individuals both internally and externally to finance is critical to the success of project work.For this the individual is required to be engaged with key areas of the business to assess inbound projects, and then highlight recommendations on supporting projects both in time and resources.

Accountabilities

  • Leading and delivering project work and driving efficiency as required.
  • Recognising and using team players strengths to successfully deliver projects, including being able to step into their day jobs to support their time on projects.
  • Reporting project progress to management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Managing change with all levels of the business in regards to projects.
  • Inputting requirements and expectations back into inbound projects to ensure that any financial control considerations are reviewed and documented within projects.
  • Working with, and supporting the FCoE team in delivering projects successfully and on time.
  • Reviewing and identifying optimisation opportunities in processes and working to deliver change.
  • Drive and deliver SAP and BW reporting changes or optimisation requests and manage validating of systems where required.
  • Managing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

Essential:
  • 3 years post qualified accountant
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Advanced IT skills – Incl. SAP & Microsoft packages. 
  • Proactive approach with great problem solving skills.
  • Highly motivated to achieve results
  • Team player

Desirable
  • Prince2 qualification
  • Six Sigma certification
