Description

Control Systems Engineering is based on the foundations of feedback theory and linear system analysis, and it integrates the concepts of network and communication theory. It is an interconnection of components forming a system configuration, which assumes the cause–effect relationship, to provide a desired system response. The implementation of control systems is mainly derived by mathematical modeling of systems of a diverse range. In essence, to achieve a successful system response, models of precise representation of a system's dynamics depending on the phenomena of interest, at different levels of parameters and tolerance fidelity, are applied together with a targeted control theory. Heating Element and its control has become a big part of the many Dyson machines. From Environmental Control category, our fan products to Personal Care products have heating elements housed as one of their operating component to deliver as part of product claims. By applying the correct modeling technique and control theory, the machine will have the ability to have the intelligence to accurately predict the behavioral response to achieve precision temperature and power control.

Accountabilities

Deliver high quality results in support of control algorithm and requirements to execute function, safety, and thermal and robustness. Identify and resolve design issues; and perform data analysis and generate comprehensive technical reports. Assist verification and validation team validation planning, physical testing and certification if necessary.

Skills

Fundamentals of Classical Control Theory (Open Loop and Closed Loop systems) Modeling of Electrical Systems in the Frequency Domain Modeling of Electrical Systems in the Time Domain Root Locus Techniques State Space Design Digital Control Systems Master Degree above in (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field. Design knowledge and experience in major aspect of Electronics: Power Electronics, Control Theory, Battery management, Analogue, Digital and sensing technology with its interfacing (magnetic, optics, etc). Experience using simulation tools to support design calculations and documentation. Capable to deliver high quality results within tight time deadlines. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and effectively as a team. Highly motivated person with good communication skills and able to work within a team. Independence, Integrity and self-driven with a strong focus on results. Fluent in spoken and written English. Ability to travel
