Description

An integral part of the owner loyalty and CRM team, you will be empowered to plan, execute and analyze detailed customer data to uncover powerful insights to inform marketing strategies. You will also work closely with the Data Strategist team based in the UK to support the work on the dataset, models and algorithms required for growing and enriching compliant quality data for Dyson.
The Senior Analyst will partner with the Americas Center of Excellence team and internal CRM/OE teams and data providers, leveraging consumer insights to build predictive models, reporting dashboards and present data to drive strategic thought and effective decision making for Dyson Americas. This individual will manage analytic initiatives from concept to completion, providing key stakeholders actionable results and insights that help achieve business objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Must have practical experience working with first party customer data, behavioral data, demographics, segmentation, and campaign response data to transform into insights
  • Lead projects with internal partners to understand business needs and the data needed to develop compelling presentations that provide actionable recommendations 
  • Develop measure and testing plans to refresh and optimize results 
  • Build and manage Tableau dashboards to create a holistic reporting suite of current trends 
  • Oversee multiple data projects concurrently to ensure successful completion of analytic projects for the Americas
  • Manage data security, data structures and data usability in line with the company’s procedures, and maintain relationships with key data owners

Skills

Here's what you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytic-focused field is preferred (e.g. statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing analytics or business analyst related background)
  • 5 years of experience in a related field: CRM, digital marketing or campaign analytics 
  • Proficient in data: SQL, Tableau, SAS, R, Python, Advanced Excel, Google Analytics
  • Acute attention to detail and deadline focused, QA/QC data and reporting output to ensure accuracy
  • Must have understanding of privacy and global data protection policies
  • Must have experience working with IT and commercial functions and a working knowledge of ‘big data’ concepts, for marketing application and campaign evaluation
  • Pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
  • Proficient in data mining; able to find patterns and trends in data
  • Flexible, pragmatic and an excellent communicator
  • Solid planning, priority setting and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and resources concurrently
  • Fluent in Spanish or French beneficial
