Description

As a member of Team Dyson, you are an integral part of a high performing national sales team, driving sales and building brand advocacy. This is done through the active demonstration of Dyson products in our key retailers’ stores.

Accountabilities

2 days a week - Saturdays and Sundays - Cairns location

Dyson machines work differently to others, so those who sell them need to think differently and work differently. and be keen to learn and understand the engineering story that goes behind our products. Our Sales Assistants are experts in bringing Dyson’s technology to the world of retail and engaging our customers in an immersive hands-on customer experience. 

Accountabilities
In store, your role will encompass:

  • Exciting customers by demonstrating the powerful features of Dyson products such as our V11 Vacuum, Pure cool me, Supersonic Hairdryer and Airwrap in a controlled in-store environment
  • Providing an authentic and premium customer experience to establish Dyson as a leader in the home appliances and personal care industry
  • Developing and driving sales aligned with business plan and targets
  • Being proactive by engaging customers and building relationships with store staff and other key brands to drive footfall
  • Being in charge of reporting on your daily results via a dedicated platform
  • Autonomously managing your store fixture and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Manage your own point of sale and stock levels

Skills

  • Previous experience in a premium retail environment 
  • Interest in our technology and products
  • You’ll understand how to generate excitement around a product.
  • You’ll be a confident and professional sales person who loves a challenge and understands retail.
  • You will also be enthusiastic and passionate about new technology to engage in conversations with customers

This role is to start on 14th February 2020 - if successful you must be available for induction on 14th/15th/16th February 2020
