Description

We have an active and challenging role that requires an exceptionally organised, forward thinking and proactive individual to provide professional, administrative and project support to the Personal Care Global Category Director and senior leadership team in Malmesbury. 
We are looking for an individual who is energetic and able to drive the role forward; an individual who is not afraid to put new ideas forward and strive towards continuous improvement and lean thinking.

Accountabilities

Daily/weekly: 
  • Fully delegated management of the director’s diary, including monitoring of weekly executive meeting attendance, and flagging of executive meetings requiring preparation 
  • Email management for the director including inbox organisation, escalation and prioritisation of urgent items 
  • Attend and minute key weekly director’s meetings, ensure actions are followed up 
  • Reconcile credit cards and submit timely personal expenses on behalf of the directors in line with current Global Travel and Expenses Policy 
  • Approve expenses and travel of global direct reports on behalf of the directors 
  • Collation and organisation of information within direct team, handling sensitive and personal information 
  • Organise end-to-end international business travel for the directors and the senior leadership team working with our external agents 
  • Ownership and management of yearly planner for directors and senior leadership team. 
Quarterly/annual: 
  • Organising cross-team briefings, in-house or externally, to include logistical organisation and collating presentations 
  • Director/leadership off-sites – logistical organisation, collating presentations, minute taking, distribution and timely follow up. 
Other accountabilities 
  • Support for Personal Care senior leadership team such as stakeholder meeting arrangements, team events and other activities as required. 
  • Security and access (RDD split badge and escorted access) including development of new SharePoint site with Security 
  • Creating and managing department-wide communications 
  • Lab deputy – managing lab access requests and queries in the absence of the lab owner 
  • Being a point of contact for ad hoc queries from the Personal Care team and company wide 
  • Other support as requested by directors 
  • Supporting PA to VP as required with H&B global events and activities 
  • Support of visiting directors and senior leadership team.

Skills

  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced environment providing admin support in a commercial environment with global reach
  • Proven experience of director- or executive-level support
  • Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills 
  • Confident self-starter, able to work proactively, think ahead and multi-task in a fast moving environment 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders, and build relationships at all levels within the Dyson business
  • Resilient, works well under pressure and a flexible team player. Will possess a positive can-do attitude and natural ability to solve problems 
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneNote) 
  • Strong attention to detail whilst obtaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
