At Dyson, we have recently launched Airwrap – a revolutionary hair styler and second product in our new category. As we expand our presence within this new category space, we are looking for a passionate Education Manager to develop, implement and inspire our sales team and retailers about our latest innovation and future new products. You will work with the Beauty Retail Sales team to deliver product launches and ensure that our in store execution of our beauty category is first class. 
The Education Manager will find unique ways to demonstrate Airwrap and SuperSonic for a variety of customers, locations and to tight deadlines. You will be able to understand the effectiveness of your training by evaluating and analysing the impact of training by the Stylists, Experts and Retail Sales Team. Working together with our Retailers to deliver joint business training plans ensuring our technology is understood and demonstrated in the best way for our customers.


Devise and deliver compelling training sessions on a regular basis, devise training strategies internally and externally to drive store staff advocacy by using all means of communication. 
  • Design, optimize and deliver training through ‘academies’ for retailer store staff, to increase their product knowledge, awareness of the brand and help them deliver the ‘why Dyson’ message.
  • Liaise with Marketing and the retailer to produce materials for store staff to be used in conjunction with training sessions and ways of selling to drive advocacy for all communication methods. 
  • Evolve our ‘academies’ to reflect the retail environment.
  • Create internal workshops 
  • Develop tools to help drive interactions, demonstration and conversion in store – through sales techniques and theatre in store. 
  • Take the lead in developing retailer events that inspire and innovate – while showing clear ROI and development in advocacy and ownership.

Support the (Divisional) Retail Development Managers and wider team in education of soft selling skills and NPD, core product information while supporting the development and knowledge of Dyson products.
  • Create a bespoke sales approach for stylists in store to take customers from a demonstration through to a sale.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions on new and existing products to ensure knowledge, engagement and enthusiasm is transferred to our retailers store staff. Measure on a regular basis.
  • Conduct field visits with the Regional Development Manager and Dyson Expert and deliver constructive feedback to ensure a high level of knowledge is retained and transferred to the consumer/buyer.

  • Strong selling skills training background
  • Experience in working and understanding electrical and beauty retailers
  • Previous experience of creating bespoke training material and plans
  • Hairdressing experience
  • Experience in training people and the development of training sessions
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills 
  • Written and verbal skills - able to communicate at all levels of the business (Must: Dutch and English, Pre: French)
  • Presentation skills – able to present confidently in front of a varied audiences.
