Accountabilities

Working at our state-of-the-art Hullavington Technology Campus, you’ll have the opportunity to really immerse yourself in our Automotive business. 

We're looking for high-performing individuals who have a specific desire to work in the automotive industry and who have the drive to deliver on Dyson's most high-profile and fast-paced project to date. The work will be challenging, you’ll have ownership and autonomy over your day to day responsibilities. 

Depending on the length of your internship and your skills and interests you could spend time in one or more of the following engineering teams:
  • Vehicle Integration
  • Chassis
  • Safety
  • Electronics
  • Interiors
  • Body
  • Powertrain
Our internships and placements are designed to give you real responsibility from day one, enabling you to add value, develop a broad range of skills and build your own expertise. They are also a stepping stone towards our Automotive Graduate Programme.

Skills

Our Intern and Placement opportunities are competitive and delivering the next generation of Dyson technology is tough, so you’ll need to be:

  • On track for a 2:1 or above in a Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or Automotive discipline, and with a keen interest in the automotive sector
  • Able to evidence how you have applied your technical knowledge to solve problems, either through your university projects or as part of your extra-curricular activities.
  • Creative in your approach to problem solving to ensure our solutions are both different and better.
  • Passionate about Dyson and our ambitious future plans in the industry.
Above all, you’ll want to play a key part in bringing the next generation of Dyson technology to the world.
