Accountabilities

As a Graduate IT Business Partner, you’ll work hand in hand with business leadership teams across the globe to really understand what technical capabilities are needed to enable our ambitious growth plans. You’ll then be responsible for translating this into clear requirements for the wider global IT function.

As a Business Partner, you’ll also maintain IT service delivery within the business, ensuring regular communication of service requirements, service improvements, risks, service changes, service outages and service issues. 

Over the course of this two year programme you’ll develop your expertise across a series of placements. Depending on your skillset and aspirations, you could spend time in the following teams: 
  • Portfolio Management
  • Change Analyst
  • Service Delivery Management
  • Generalist Business Partnering

In addition, you’ll be supported with a development framework designed to provide the technical and commercial know-how to help you drive your Dyson career. 

The work will be challenging and varied but you’ll be getting stuck in from day one, helping to influence the future of Dyson technology. 

Skills

Working at the forefront of technology is tough so standards and expectations are high. You’ll be contributing to live projects from the start so you’ll need to be curious, hungry to learn and ready to get stuck in. But it’s not just about technical expertise. You’ll need to:

  • Be on track for a 2:1 or above, preferably in an IT or Business degree
  • Be able to evidence your passion for delivering projects, either through your university course or as part of your extra-curricular activities.
  • Be able to thrive in Dyson’s fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and service management, as well as understanding project management methodologies would advantageous
Above all, you’ll want to play a key part in bringing the next generation of Dyson technology to the world.
