Description

You will be part of multidisciplinary teams, working closely with creative designers, copy writers, content admins, developers, product owners, stakeholders and scrum masters to work through projects end-to-end.  You will guide the scrum team with a variety of quantitative and qualitative insights, together to explore solutions and validate them via testing and monitoring the changes.

Your portfolio will demonstrate that you use an evidence-based approach to design, and you advocate testing at all stages of your process. You will be able to articulate your ideas clearly and collaboratively. You will understand the importance of working as one team, and allow experience from different disciplines to enhance and guide your ideas.


Accountabilities

  • Taking ownership of project tasks
  • Writing project plans and estimates
  • Close collaboration with senior stakeholders and other channel leads to deliver consistent, relevant experiences
  • Sketching, wireframing and prototyping solutions
  • Advocacy for and contribution to Agile software design practice
  • Collaborating with other designers to provide a scalable user experience
  • Collation of research and insight and production of associated artefacts
  • Scoping of usability trials and related research activity, including discussion plans, observation and reports
  • Contriubuting to our design pattern library
  • Contributing to our global UX strategy
  • Working with global UX teams to understand the cultural differences of our owners

Skills

Essential experience:

-        True understanding of UX methods and when/why to use them

-        Data driven UX design, with data to back it up

-        Wireframing / prototyping for desktop and mobile

-        UX activity planning

-        Test planning/facilitating/reporting

-        Web analytics (e.g. Google 360, Adobe Analytics)

-        User journey/experience mapping

-        Facilitating ideation workshops

-        Content audit or IA exercises such as card sorting / tree testing

-        Worked as part of an agile delivery team

-        Minimum 3+ years’ experience within the digital design industry

-        Experience of sketching & prototyping software (such as Axure , Sketch, Flinto)

Desirable:

-        Facilitating lab usability testing

-        Persona creation based on data and research

-        Understanding of W3C accessibility standards A, AA, AAA

-        Degree level education in UX and Interaction Design, HCI or equivalent

-        Experience in stakeholder interviews

-        Experience in localisation with global markets

-        Experience in un-moderated testing. (such as UserZoom)

-        Experience in A/B testing (such as Adobe Target, Crazy Egg)

-        Experience in collecting user feedback via surveys

-        Experience in heatmap/session recording software (such as Decibel, Sessioncam)

-        Experience in Lean UX approach

-        Knowledge of Content Management Systems (such as Sitecore, AEM content management systems

-        Knowledge of UI design

-        Knowledge of front-end development
