Part of the ANZ Paid Media Team, it is the responsibility of the Paid Search Executive to accelerate Dyson in the digital space across Australia and New Zealand so that we are leveraging every opportunity to live up to the premise of being the leader in this space. While assisting in the management of Paid Search, Shopping and retargeting campaigns you will collaborate with our media agency to ensure that brand KPIs are achieved while hitting our ecommerce targets in a cost-efficient way. Through close collaboration with our media agency, marketing and ecommerce team you will be challenging ongoing performance based on data insights and look for new ways to increase the efficiency of our marketing activities.

As Paid Search Executive you will be responsible for the implementation, optimisation and reporting of all things paid search across the ANZ business. Your remit will be across all acquisition channels – SEM, Shopping, retargeting and other opportunities as / when they present themselves.

You will contribute to the ambitious growth targets of the ANZ direct business, ensuring every opportunity is maximised. Be accountable for traffic, conversion and revenue targets in your respective channels and for ensuring that enough engaged shoppers are visiting dyson.com.au in order for the site to deliver against the monthly revenue target. 

Main Responsibilities:

Paid search and shopping

  • Work with e-commerce team to understand upcoming promotions and priorities, amplifying promotions across all channels including paid search, shopping and retargeting channels

  • Briefing media agency on upcoming asset requirements across all channels, assisting with implementation, auditing/QC and post analysis

  • End to end management of paid search merchandising, seeking relevant approvals, evaluating performance and optimising mid-flight, through to reporting, evaluation and post-campaign analysis. Includes writing ad copies and extensions across all formats to maintain high performing campaigns.

  • Feed Management across several platforms including Google, Bing, Facebook and more. Manage google shopping feed and diagnostics

Reporting, data and Insights

  • Track and report on key metrics for AU & NZ, monitor key performance metrics and optimisation scores, action any recommendations to improve

  • Proactively identify any performance issues or opportunities to improve performance, brief changes and manage implementation with media agency team

  • It is the responsibility of the Paid Search Executive to have a deep knowledge and understanding of all Google Marketing Platform products from both an analytical and advertising perspective, for managing, reporting and generating insights for optimisation. The platforms include:

    • Google Analytics

    • Google Ads (Search, Display, Video & Discovery)

    • SA360/DV360/Campaign Manager

    • Google Data Studio

    • Google Merchant Centre

Display, retargeting, audience and creative

  • Build audience segments utilising 1PD, working with digital tracking teams to publish and validate. Review & maintain audience structures regularly, making changes aligned to promotions, NPDs or new products as needed.

  • Collaborate with SEO & content teams, ensuring any new content or pages on site do not impact existing audience structures.

  • Briefing creative assets for retargeting: Briefing in any creative assets required for retargeting and managing process to delivery of assets, gaining relevant approvals throughout. Presenting for outcome needed and influencing others to gain buy-in of creative team where needed on projects outside our usual scope

  • Support on-going development and implementation of feed-based retargeting strategy (DCO), integrating  3rd party API's to accelerate retargeting performance and build more comprehensive assets to target customers with the most relevant comms possible

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing with demonstrated experience in Digital Marketing role, client side or agency 

  • Proven ability to project manage and drive projects from conception through implementation and to analyse post-campaign results 

  • Solid knowledge of all digital marketing channels, tactics and their roles 

  • Experience using digital analytics tools (Google Tech Stack) and Content & Product Feed Management Systems beneficial 

  • Well organized and proactive with proficient time management skills and ability to prioritize and multitask with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and presentation skills. 

  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external business partners. 

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
