About the role
A unique opportunity in our Electronics Department for a hands-on Senior Manager to lead the team responsible for the delivery of challenging new electronics functions like dust detection in our V15, and active noise control on the Zone. The team works from research through to manufacturing, builds knowledge down to the fundamental physics, and manages issues across multiple disciplines including modelling, electrical, software, mechanical, and calibration
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Advanced Technology Team including technical reviews, mentoring, processes, and line management.
Technically guide the delivery of Advanced Electronics Technologies from prototype to high yield mass production.
Own the delivery of individual technologies and the resulting product features to agreed requirements.
Explain findings, conclusions and recommendations to Directors, Heads of Category, and Executives.
Refine best practices, process, handbooks and guides for implementation across the whole hardware department.
About you
Subject matter expert in the development of advanced sensor technologies.
Previously accountable for delivering electronics components into mass production.
Previously accountable for the technical & people leadership of a small team.
Experience working with development teams from the research phase through to manufacturing and operations.
Excellent analytical, simulation, experimental, and prototyping skills.
