About the role
As the IT Agile Programme Manager, you will champion the development and maturation of our IT delivery methodologies, with an emphasis on Agile practices, ensuring they are dynamic and suited to varying project requirements. You will be the key liaison across all Dyson IT delivery sectors, showcasing leadership qualities, setting visionary goals, and maintaining top-notch service standards while continuously scanning for technological innovations.
General Roles & Responsibilities
- Methodology Leadership: Drive the evolution and continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scaled Agile, waterfall, and beyond. Ensure flexibility and relevance to diverse project requirements.
- Strategic Formulation: Collaborate across all Dyson IT sectors, formulating the delivery transformation strategy by integrating feedback and achieving consensus.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Provide consistent, clear, and transparent updates to high-level stakeholders regarding program dynamics, changes, and strategic directions.
- Capability Enhancement: Mentor and develop the capabilities of project managers, aligning their growth with the program's strategic vision.
- Visionary Goal Establishment: Set and articulate forward-looking objectives for the team that resonate with the broader program goals.
- Challenges Mitigation: Proactively identify and navigate programmatic challenges, ensuring lessons are captured and shared to fortify the program's foundation.
- Technological Forecasting: Monitor the technology landscape, keeping the program updated with the latest technological trends and their potential impact.
- Service Excellence: Oversee service delivery against SLAs, maintaining an exhaustive database of essential service metrics.
- Analytical Review: Analyse service delivery metrics, advocating strategies to uphold or enhance service quality.
- Financial Stewardship: Conduct financial assessments for diverse projects, communicate insights to stakeholders, and meticulously maintain financial documentation for regulatory alignment.
- Customer-Centric Collaboration: Actively engage with clients, understanding their unique requirements, and ensuring customized solution creation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such as PMP, SAFe are preferred.
- Experience Depth: Minimum of 7 years in IT program or project management, having successfully guided complex IT programs.
- Methodological Expertise: Profound knowledge of diverse project management techniques, combined with IT best practices.
- Leadership Efficacy: Demonstrated leadership abilities with a flair for strategic planning and execution
- Communication Excellence: Proficient in articulating complex ideas across organizational levels, excelling in senior stakeholder management.
- Financial Mastery: Proven capabilities in financial management, budget crafting, and investment scrutiny.
- Adaptive Agility: Ability to excel in a dynamic, high-pressure setting.
- Tech Savviness: Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary project management tools and digital solutions.
