Application Delivery Manager

The IT Application Delivery Manager will enable the delivery of our E-commerce platforms. You’ll be working closely with commercial products owners to deliver high value quality change at pace. We’ll also empower you to provide end to end leadership across all of our delivery teams owing tangible outputs whilst maintaining quality.

About the role

You will be delivering value to Dyson’s business through enhancing and developing key technology platforms and striving to improve our DevOps delivery. You’ll be doing this by providing IT delivery guidance and support to business stakeholders such as Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts and Project Managers as well as providing delivery support to Delivery Leads. It's a really collaborative opportunity to partner extensively with the business. 

You’ll be great at facilitating effective governance reviews with delivery partners on resource performance; you’ll be doing this through regular service reviews and facilitating service reviews of the delivery(s) team through put and performance against agreed KPI’s We’d love for you to love data – you’ll be generating regular IT leadership MI reports and spotting and identifying trends to help with reliable, trusted future decision making. Effective communication is key – you’ll be ensuring that all business objectives are clear, understood and aligned across the teams whilst removing blockers, identifying risks and issues and collaborating cross functionally.

About you

You’ll be a Project Manager first and foremost delivering large-scale systems and applications. You’ll also be well versed in delivering Agile and Waterfall based projects in a fast-paced environment to challenging deadlines; ideally with a focus on customer experience. 

You’ll have a problem solving approach and attitude to what you’re faced with and will be able to see solutions; communicating these to your technical and non-technical stakeholders in a really engaging way. We’d also love to see your team engagement experience – building and managing scrum teams, using tools such as Slack and MS Teams to collaborate with the people around you. Experience with E -commerce platforms such as Abode Experience Manager, Hybris or Magento would be a huge bonus. 

At Dyson we work at pace and change happens quickly – being able to anticipate project needs, prioritising a shifting workload whilst planning requirements across multiple platforms and vendors will be key to success in a role like this.
