About the role
You will play a crucial role within Dyson’s Benelux Sales Department, driving sell-out performance through your team of Experts across the North West region of the Netherlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, driven candidate with experience in people management looking to expand their commercial leadership skills in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as retail activation, marketing, and account management, ensuring Dyson's brand presence and sales strategy are implemented effectively.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive sales growth within your region by owning total Sell-Out performance across 25 points of sale.
- Analyze weekly sales data and market trends, identifying opportunities and setting clear, actionable strategies to increase Dyson’s market share.
- Present weekly Sell-Out results and actions to the wider team.
- Ensure sustainable sales growth by developing long-term plans and responses to short-term market shifts.
- Lead and develop your team of 8–10 Experts, coaching them through regular store visits and meaningful 1:1s.
- Conduct training and onboarding of new Experts, while also holding development discussions and field visits to ensure your team hits sales targets.
- Collaborate with retail operations and activation teams to deliver excellence in execution, including ensuring all Dyson displays meet brand standards.
- Build strong relationships with retail partners, including store CCOs, department managers, and key influencers to promote Dyson’s products, enhance brand advocacy, and negotiate additional display space.
- Conduct product training for retail staff, ensuring a deep understanding of Dyson’s full product range, particularly during new product launches.
In this role you may need to work during the weekend one time/month.
About you
- Commercially driven, with a proven track record of driving sales performance.
- Excellent leadership skills, with previous experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong analytical skills, able to assess sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally and externally.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for operational detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in Dutch and English
One year fixed term contract with the possibility of renewal to a permanent position.
