Assistant Brand Manager, PC

Key responsibility

Hair Dryer category management:

  • Assist line manager to develop commercial plan to grow Dyson hair dryer business,
  • Assist line manage to develop category / portfolio / pricing strategy to capitalize business opportunity;
  • Develop and execute tactic plan, in line with category strategy, to accelerate the business growth and sales target;
  • Collaborate with cross functions, such as sales, e-commerce, user experience, customer service, supply chain, engineers, PR, etc., to maximize business results; 
  • Understand and deep dive business dynamics, independently conduct business analysis, such as market share, pricing, competition, retail, consumer segmentation, brand health, etc., to drive for the best of business and category

Brand and product management:

  • Assist line manage to independently manage NPD launch initiatives, influence global stakeholders to translate local insights and needs into product claims, demos, assets and campaign initiatives
  • Lead cross functions to deliver business objectives;
  • Governance product supply with global/ local teams, such as supply chain, engineers, Graphic and Packaging, etc., and co-work with sales team to ensure accurate sales forecast and supply fulfillment
  • Co-work with global commercial team and engineers to seek for continuous improvement of the products story, assets development and consumer experience;

Communication strategy development:

  • Translate business objective into communication strategy
  • Closely with global team/ media partners to develop communication plan, and convert into executions;
  • Capability in internal integration to ensure consistent delivery of brand/ product message
  • Review effectiveness and efficiency of media spending with optimization plan.

Budget management

  • Governance brand/ product spending and drive effectiveness
  • Assist line manager in monitoring brand/ product profitability

Desired working experience:

  • Min. 3-4 years marketing working experience;
  • Specialized in Marketing with experience including NPD launch;
  • FMCG, lifestyle brands, healthcare and technology brands preferred
  • Multiple channel understanding of department store, retail and online
