Associate Communications Manager, Content Partnerships and Influencers

The Associate Manager, Content Partnerships and Influencers will be responsible for using Dyson brand knowledge and deep relationships to initiate and build upon partnerships that bridge the gap between brands and a new age of consumers. Main duties will revolve around supporting brand partnership identification, development and execution of agreements, business and ROI analysis, with an emphasis on project management, partnership and internal support. The majority of these partnerships will be with media content partners and influencers. This role requires a high level of collaboration and communication across most departments within Dyson.

Support on partnership strategy and activation:

  • Relentlessly identify relevant ways that Dyson can be represented outside of Dyson owned channels.
  • Establish and build upon relationships across major media publications and influencers to lead strategic partnership needs in order to create meaningful, original content partnerships across multiple categories.
  • Serve as a member of the cross-functional client team to understand goals and translate them into partnership strategy across all platforms.
  • Evaluate and bring forth new social technology, platforms, and opportunities. Stay on top of social/media trends and report those back to the business.
  • Work closely with the Manager to manage agency supporting sponsored content and manage budgets.
  • Assist in negotiation of plans and terms with minimal training and oversight.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal Marketing + Communications teams on influencer and content partnerships needs to ensure there is no conflict.
  • Collaborate with Media Team on content plans and amplification needed with influencers and content partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Sales team + retailers on content needs that will support Dyson in our third party spaces.
  • Collaborate with the social listening team to inform campaigns, partnership opportunities or content creation themes.
  • Collaborate with Dyson’s Center of Excellence on content strategy and distribution plans.

 Influencer Management:

  • Manage external influencer agencies to ensure our internal needs are represented, met and completed in a timely manner.
  • Own the internal influencer calendar across all tactics – always on, NPD launches, squads, ambassadors, owners.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage influencer programs including three influencer squads and a top tier partner program.
  • Build relationships with social influencers through seeding programs and regular communication.
  • Negotiate and execute influencer social media posts, blogs, and other online content.
  • Proactively create paid, owned, earned plans to elevate and extend the life of content.

Content Partnership Management:

  • Work with the internal Dyson teams to align on campaign needs and objectives.
  • Have a broad knowledge of executing a successful content partnership from start to finish.
  • Work directly with publisher on strategy and execution of the partnership.


  • Lead the development of the quarterly US submission for the Global Influencer report.
  • Lead reporting of the performance of various content partnerships and influencer campaigns with key internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure we are sharing reports and learnings across relevant internal stakeholders to enhance future partnerships.
  • Leverage your strong understanding of digital measurement, performance metrics, and KPI’s to ensure we continually set, achieve, and exceed targets.
  • Approach partnerships with a test and learn mentality, always looking to make campaign more effective through innovative strategies
  • Understand platform capabilities to enhance current targeting strategies.

About You:

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in influencers and content partnerships
  • Experience in managing projects from start to finish
  • Demonstrates understanding of marketing activities
  • Media relations experience is a bonus

  • Project management skills: At times this role will involve direct project management, at other times, managing the project manager. This person must be able to manage budgets and deadlines – and plan, achieve and evaluate results.
