Associate Principal Electronics Process Designer

To facilitate this growth, we are seeking to hire an experienced Process Developer with an electronics background to support ongoing development of the company’s processes for Electronics Design and Verification.

About the role

You will be responsible for developing, documenting and implementing process strategies for electronics design in Dyson, with the aim of improving efficiency in the design process, reducing time to market and optimising resource utilisation. This may span all levels from top-level business process modelling down to low-level ECAD/MCAD tool integration. To perform this role you will have:

  • A strong knowledge of process engineering for product design.

  • Experience working with ECAD tools, ideally also with MCAD.

  • Experience of driving electronics design through multiple product development cycles.

About You

  • Degree qualified in a relevant electronics discipline.

  • Experience as a process developer, ideally working in a regulated industry.

  • Knowledge and experience of regulatory certification at the PCBA and product levels.

  • Knowledge and experience of the design of electronics for high-volume production.

  • Familiar with BPMN capture tools such as Signavio.
