About the role
Responsibilities:
Strategy and Sourcing
Contribute to define and implement strategies and projects in relationship with finance team and procurement team at HQ on the different categories such as logistics, marketing, facility, travel and HR.
Identify optimization of sourcing projects, and define relevant policies per categories in consistency (mission, action and policy) and compliance with Dyson group policy.
Manage & control tender processes with stakeholders, and lead commercial and pricing negotiations.
Spend analysis and saving potential findings.
Set economic and/or qualitative targets for each procurement action.
Procurement Operation
Manage expenses analysis
Operate and guide ARIBA modules, both upstream and downstream, with procurement team at HQ and procurement operation team in China.
User support for ARIBA
Supplier registration and process updates
PO creation
System and process improvement including internal announcement.
Promote procurement guidelines, processes and best practices and support the change management.
Contribute to the internal communication, procurement projects, referenced suppliers, terms & conditions and procurement guideline.
Supplier performance monitoring process development and manage relationship with key vendors.
Contract Management
Manage the operation of ARIBA contract module.
Review outsourcing contract and negotiate terms & conditions with suppliers.
About you
ob Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, Knowledge, etc.)
Education
Degree of knowledge in the field of indirect procurement with a major brand or retailer
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement field and in operating expenses control with proven ability to develop and deliver strategic vision, clear understanding of indirect procurement management and experienced in best practices, tools, process.
Working experiences for the medium or large size of the foreign affiliated company.
Skills
- Native level Japanese & Business level English.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, which encourage the communications among the team.
- Good organizational skills with an ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Good knowledge or experiences with ARIBA is plus.
- Microsoft office skill, Excel, Word and PoewrPoint.
- Experience in general affairs is plus.
