General purpose of the job

A strategic partner to support Beauty Development Director to crafting beauty transformation strategy. A project manager to governance key initiatives of test and trial in 2H of 2024. A leader of beauty retail channel development/management as a 12-24 months’development plan.

Key responsibilities

  • Support Beauty Transformation Strategy Development
  • Support beauty development director for beauty strategy crafting.
  • Lead the beauty strategy cross function cascading
  • Support to development WOW across function to facilitate beauty strategy landing
  • Beauty key initiatives project management and governance
  • Support to development key beauty projects design and overall governance.
  • Lead projects tracking and evaluation as well as scale up plan
  • Beauty retail channel development and management

(Key counter part: network team, sales store experience, IT, MKT, Education)

Identify key beauty channels and lead the beauty channel development

  • Set up beauty channel business operation plan including capability development, team set up, product portfolio, visual merchandizing, operation calendar, as well as sales building blocks.
  • Lead beauty demo and DS store transformation project and management

a. Identify potential beauty store format, identify potential beauty demo and DS stores supported by retail store business management.

b. Lead the landlord beauty key contact relationship development

c. Lead the landlord sell in, beauty store location identification, beauty store design, VM development, retail operation standard optimization, PS management, retail support calendar and be responsible to beauty stores P&L.

  • Support and monitor beauty store opening and closing by working with network team.
  • Overall beauty business analysis and SOP design and development

Key counter parts: DP & BI, Network team, IT

  • Manage sell in, sell out, and stock target by leveraging proper phasing and portfolio according to beauty calendar strategy with robust store plan.
  • Provide business insights, and recommendations through comprehensive business performance and activities analysis.
  • Standardize and optimize retail operation process, equip retail store team with right operation excellence tools (measurement analysis tools, IT system support tools, commission scheme optimization design, supported by cross functions)
  • Requirements
  • 8 years plus working experience in an international beauty company with retail channel related experience (headquater retail operation experience, know how on SOP, demand planning , sales management Etc.)
  • Beauty related trade marketing, Business development is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively and productively with regional, global
  • Good English communication and capability of strategic reporting/influencing
  • Hands-on mentality and a strong customer focus
  • Thrives in fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Be comfortable with technology and engineering world.
  • Resilience
