About the role

This apprenticeship will develop your administration skills through a combination of on-the-job training and academic learning at Bath College. Throughout your apprenticeship you will be supported by your manager, a mentor, and a team of other apprentices on site. You will study a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Business Administration over a two-year apprenticeship, with the potential to progress to a level 4 apprenticeship to complement the hands-on work you will be exposed to.

The role will enable you to support multiple engineering project teams with their varied requirements and you will be given responsibility to take your own initiative and contribute to the overall success of Dyson. Your role could include diary management for the business director, booking travel, designing and co-ordinating key visits and events or managing small projects. You’ll also prepare meeting materials and gather data to present using Microsoft tools. Ultimately you’ll support the project teams throughout their design process in turing ideas into ground-breaking technology.

About you

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs at A*-C including English, Mathematics

  • Minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent.  

  • Proactive and Problem-Solving Mindset

  • Strong team working skills
