Within this function, the Global Experience Studio has the unique mission to bring Dyson technology to life, to provide the imagery, films, content, experiences and service that explain our machines, their benefits and the problems they solve for our customers. We create assets and multi-channel journeys that help our customers discover, choose, purchase, learn about and solve issues they may have with our machines. About the programme Dyson has embarked on a transformation journey that will deliver a new operating model, processes and technology and enable us to meet the challenges created by our growth ambitions, changing market landscape and fierce competition. Specifically, the Future of Direct & Experience - Data & Content programme will deliver new Marketing Technology systems and transform our Commercial Operations by: * Consolidating our global content storage into a new, state-of-the-art digital asset management platform (DAM) including digital rights management (DRM) * Delivering a marketing resource management solution that will support optimised content production and delivery processes (MRM) * Integrating this content hub with the various content delivery systems to enable a consistent experience across channels * Integrating our owner data into one location to enable efficient personalized content and journeys to be delivered (Marketing Cloud) About the role Reporting to the Project Manager, the Digital Content Business Analyst will support multiple activities falling in scope of the Future of Direct & Experience - Data & Content programme. About you Key accountabilities: A BA may work independently on complex situations and tasks so you will be experienced in selecting appropriate techniques to accomplish business analysis objectives in different conditions. Our core capabilities within the BA function include Requirements elicitation and traceability, Process mapping, supporting articulation of the scope of projects and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). You will: * Lead on collating, understanding, recording and reviewing our Business requirements for the programme * Record, document and communicate existing business processes * Be part of the end-to-end development of new processes and system integration to maintain consistency and high-level output * Support the quality of delivery, identifying risks and issues arising, taking ownership and ensuring resolution of issues and conflicts * Help define the appropriate delivery method for the Business Analysis team to ensure efficiency and to enable the best possible collaboration with the business, IT and third-party vendor teams * Maintain active engagement and collaboration with other teams within the programme, e.g., IT Delivery, Solution Architecture, Product Owners, IT Business Analysts, Business Change * Interact in the relevant team meetings such as agile ceremonies, progress review meetings, RAID sessions * Report progress against the project plan in a timely and precise fashion * Proactively identify risks and issues and escalate to the Project Manager where necessary Key Skills * 3 years plus experience as a Business Analyst * Ability to plan and manage own work * Able to demonstrate an understanding of the core Business Analysis techniques * Experience of working using an Agile methodology (desirable but not essential) * Competent in requirements gathering and investigation * Able to proactively set up interviews and workshops with stakeholders * A proven ability to understand, design, manage and document process * Strong relationship building skills and stakeholder management * Good communicator with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply * Excellent presentation skills * Strong attention to detail; ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy * Creative problem solver * Self-motivated, dynamic and results-driven * Inquisitive, proactive and innovative * Team player, comfortable working with all levels and with dealing with external suppliers * Competent in using Microsoft stack, Jira, Confluence and Signavio Desirable Skills * Experience in working with a Digital Asset Management system (DAM) and/or a Content Management System (CMS) * Understanding of marketing operations, marketing technology * Experience and understanding of the technology and consumer goods industry and its challenges and constraints Benefits • 27 days holiday plus eight statutory bank holidays • Pension scheme • Performance related bonus • Private medical insurance • Life assurance • Sport centre • Free on-site parking • Subsidised café and restaurants • Discounts on Dyson machines #LI-DYSON
