The Role – Business Analyst for a Regional Business Transformation

Dyson's global and regional IT applications teams have accountability for designing and delivering the business applications, enabling a regional business transformation. You'll join a BA team working in the Owner Experience Projects.  . It's a great place to work as we deliver a wide range of enhancements, projects and programmes across our web, eCommerce and CRM platforms for our global markets. We develop an approach unique to the needs of each type of work, using both waterfall and agile delivery methods. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders in the market and across the globe to elicit, analyse and document high-quality requirements, ensuring traceability and management of these requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting to the Business Analyst Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting analysis activity to elicit requirements and inform business decisions. 

  • Facilitating Requirements workshop with the UK's BA team and working closely with the in-market stakeholders to analyse requirements.

  • Supporting the implementation of the information system and enhancements in line with business need and aiding benefits realisation. 

  • Investigating, analysing and reviewing a project or business documentation.

  • Supporting the definition of requirements for improving processes and systems.

  • Supporting the creation of User stories and acceptance criteria in preparation for the deployment of information and communication systems.

  • Working independently or collaboratively on complex situations and tasks.

  • Providing specialist advice on the subject to multiple stakeholders on complex issues. 

  • Experience in working across all stages of large-scale projects and programmes

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies with demonstrable experience working in agile delivery teams, demonstrating agile modelling and documentation techniques. 

  • Excellent communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Regional Language)

  • Awareness of the wide range of activities performed by BAs

  • Can achieve excellent results on small, less complicated work without supervision.


  • Working Knowledge of Ecommerce (Hybris / AEM) or any  CRM applications ( Sap CRM  Salesforce) would be advantageous

  • Experience working in Retail/ Omnichannel experience

  • Experience implementing and supporting large scale implementation programs

  • Any Business Analysis professional qualifications would be beneficial

  • Experience in the delivery of enhancements to eCommerce and/ or CRM platforms

  • Experience in producing and delivering training to business users
