Our Digital Business Technology team is responsible for building and evolving the technology solutions behind everything that Dyson does, and plans to do. With a broad remit covering all aspects of product development, supply chain, finance, retail, e-commerce, and owner experience, our Business Analysis teams scope and deliver vital technology change projects across this complex global organisation.

About the role:

Business Analysts support:

  • Analysis activity, to elicit requirements and inform business decisions

  • Implementation of information systems and enhancements

  • Investigating, analysing and reviewing project or business documentation.

  • Definition of requirements for improving processes and systems.

  • Creation and iteration of acceptance criteria in preparation for deployment of systems.

  • Production of business models and business cases.

  • Provision of specialist advice to multiple stakeholders

About you:

Core Experience:

  • In a Business Analyst role or similar, likely to be at least 2 years

  • Of supporting complex IT transformation programmes

  • In Agile / scrum framework environments, with practical experience working in agile teams and creating associated artefacts (Epics/Stories)

  • Of matrix structures, with cross functional teams under line reporting and project task managers

  • Familiar with IIBA or the BCS BABOK.

  • Of successfully managing complex cases, through structured analysis and planning

Specialist Experience:

The team is arranged into 5 investment areas:

  • Owner Experience

  • Retail

  • Enterprise

  • Manufacturing & Supply Chain

  • Product Development

We’re hiring across the 5 areas, and you'd be assigned to a team/investment area, based on existing project and system experience, and your preferred focus.

Directly relevant industry experience (in e.g. design, engineering, manufacturing, retail) is beneficial, but not essential in all teams

Project focus by team, examples of relevant experience

Owner Experience:

Focus: E-Commerce, Digital Experience Platform (DXP) and Rest of World (ROW) teams.

SME: E-Commerce project experience, Payments, Front end, Accessibility

Platforms: Magento AEM Hybris. Platform Teams: DevOps experience, AEM, Hybris, ForgeRock

Retail:

Focus: Payment systems, Customer Service, CRM/Customer Relationship Management

SME: Automated & live customer support channels, Chatbots: Contact Centres, Live Chat, Video Clientelling

Platforms: Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Siebel, Genesys, Zendesk, Pegasystems, HubSpot, Magento, Engage

Enterprise:

Focus: Finance, Procurement (direct & indirect), Integrations, Commercial Planning, Sales Order Processing, Data Reporting, Payments

SME: ERP project experience, strong understanding of system integrations, experience in a back office role, Functional and Non-Functional requirements

Platforms: S4 Hana inc. MM, SD, FI, CO, TMS, PP and MDG modules, SAP Ariba, SAP PI/PO, 3rd party tax systems, Vistex, SAP Concur, Onestream, SAP BI/BW, 3rd party payment providers

Manufacturing & Supply Chain:

Focus: IT Project Implementation in Supply Chain

SME: Experience in Sales & Operational Planning (demand or supply planning), as a business or IT user

Platforms: Kinaxis, Rapid Response, IBP or other S & OP planning system

Product Development:

Focus: Product Lifecycle Management, Infrastructure, Simulation, CAD, Cost Management, Product Management

SME: Product Lifecycle Management, Infrastructure, Simulation, Computer Aided Design, Agile, Functional and Non-Functional requirements

Platforms: Siemens Teamcenter, CAD, Ansys
