Business Change Manager - Content Hub (12 month FTC)

Project and Programme Management
United Kingdom - Malmesbury Office

About us

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We're growing fast and our ambition is huge - more categories, more customers, more locations and more people.

About the role

This role is based out of our Malmesbury campus, five days a week, with the option to work some days in our Bristol Office, sitting within our Group Commercial team and working closely with Group IT and our regional markets. It’s an exciting time to be joining Dyson as we continue to evolve and deliver exciting changes for our customers, driven in part by these technical developments.

As our Business Change Manager, you will work across several projects associated to and within the Data & Content programme, a key enabler of the Dyson strategy. We’re in the process of implementing a Content Hub / DAM (Digital Asset Management) system to store Dyson content in an intelligent, single location for use across the globe. The DAM will support the delivery of our in-house agency, our global production partners as well as feeding our channel delivery platforms. The programme is a key strategic enabler for realising Dyson’s strategy.

You will be responsible for planning the business change activities aligned to the overall project plan, communicating engagement strategies that will take the Data & Content programme on a change journey and support people as they move through the various stages of the change curve. You will oversee the business readiness element of the programme, which ensures the business is ready both operationally and commercially for the changes being implemented. You’ll look into training and hypercare and ensure delivery is appropriate to the requirements. You’ll manage risk and implement effective mitigations, as well as creating, maintaining and reporting all elements of Change documentation, which will include:

  • Stakeholder management
  • Change project plan
  • Change Impact Analysis
  • Change RAID log
  • Communication plan
  • Training
  • Hypercare
  • Success criteria
  • Status updates
  • Governance structure

Historically, the Business Change function has been under-played within Dyson, but this is a great opportunity to bring high quality business change thinking, engagement and documentation as we continue to build knowledge and best practice across the Dyson Business Change teams. You will help to develop the governance, documentation and ways of working, ensuring consistency with our Regional Change teams.
