About us

CEED (Central and Emerging Europe Distributors) lead 14 markets in emerging eastern Europe via six distributors. The business has grown rapidly in 2020, but much more lies beyond that.
Our growth plan requires the addition of a Business Development Manager who will take dedicated ownership of one of two separate market portfolios; containing a combination of large + mid + small countries.

About the role

As the key interface between Dyson and distributor, the BDM works across all Dyson functions, negotiating outcomes that support delivery of targets. Deliverables include:
  • Assessment of market potential and prioritisation of resource to maximise growth
  • Optimising Distributor businesses, ensuring development of dedicated ‘Dyson-type’ organisations and capabilities within distributor, ensuring they are not sales conduits, but “Market Execution Partners”
  • Management of the business with academic rigour, reviewing and challenging performance and retained margin, to ensure: 
    • Dyson growth is accelerated while commercial incentives for the distributor to grow remain strong
    • Pay for performance principles are enforced
    • Granular retail joint business plans that deliver growth goals are agreed and delivered
  • Cross functional collaboration across Marketing, ecommerce, supply chain and finance to guide investment and execution decisions at market level
  • Taking accountability for all aspects of market specific P&Ls
