Business Development Manager - Jiangsu (DS)

This candidate will be a long term asset to the China organization, and to grow alongside with the business in China. This candidate will support department store/shopping mall channel leader to develop excellent go to market model, customer/distributor management and high quality in store execution.


Strong capability in retail sell in and relationship management

  • Lead annual joint business plan discussion with top department store/ shopping mall channel

  • High sense on how to get department store/shopping mall resource especially in counter location and space, event resource and other OOH resource.

  • Seamless communication with retails to understand their perspective to Dyson business and turn retail feedback into productive feedback to HQ team.



Strong distributor management to enable them for better sell in and sell out

  • Joint business planning/scorecard measurement with regional distributors

  • Timely business review with distributors and closely monitor the business progress in the region

  • Enable distributors to improve their capability continuously especially in retail management and in store management, help them build up the execution team.

  • Understand distributors’ overall business status including cash flow/ inventory/ profitability, etc.


    Support channel leader to develop channel-fit for use toolkit and enable distributors for excellent execution

  • Counter space/location upgrade principle

  • In store demonstrator training and motivation program

  • New product launch execution plan

  • Price and promotion strategy

  • Event execution guidance

  • New store open process and criteria

Online business experience is preferred.

  • Passionate about dyson/technology/long term development in sales organization;

  • Engineering spirit, direct and to-the-point, tenacious, constantly evolves and learns by repetition and trial and error to arrive at better and better solutions;

  • Team player, flexible, patient, and able to work cross-functionally, managing and motivating stakeholders.



  • Bachelor’s Degree or above, relevant major(business and technology) is preferred;

  • >5 years’ experience in sales function (FMCG, skin care, and small appliance company preferred), or work in distributor company in related industry

  • Experience in brands that are sold in department stores/shopping mall, or brands that are technology led will be preferred;
