B2B Business Development Manager will drive sales and awareness of the Dyson Professional products in Poland, Czech Republic and Baltics. Reporting into the Head of Dyson Professional for RU&EE, you will be responsible for leading sales and marketing activities, supporting distributors and resellers by driving awareness and sales to grow Poland, Czech Rep and Baltics sales, XL-projects, revenue and profit.
AccountabilitiesAs Business Development Manager, you’ll focus on distributor support and identifying and securing cross-category business opportunities across Poland, Czech Rep and Baltics, creating and growing a new account pipeline for Dyson Professional. Not only will you be responsible for driving new business opportunities for Dyson Airblade, you will also be looking to identify opportunities to drive sales of Dyson Lighting, Dyson Purifiers, and Dyson Supersonic.
Reporting into the Head of Dyson Professional for RU&EE, you will be responsible for leading sales and specification activity, driving specification via architects and designers to grow Poland, Czech Rep and Baltics investment projects, revenue and profit. You will establish strong relationships with Distributors, Resellers, Architects, Specifiers using your deep understanding of the Market, B2B sales process, key project stages and stakeholders to optimise the sales opportunities and process.
In addition you will be responsible for:• Adoptation, development, communication and implementation of the Poland, Czech Rep and Baltics strategy which is linked into Global business strategy driving best in class execution• Become a product expert. Learn how to communicate Dyson technology to internal teams, retailers and customers• Generating, developing & managing the indirect sales pipeline in the market, delivering short-term revenue as well as developing a credible pipeline of projects spanning a longer sales cycle• Managing distributor relationships and growing the number of resellers • Develop and maintain our resellers network across Poland, Czech Rep and Baltics, including delivering product trainings and participating in joint meeting and events with resellers as a product expert.• Supporting market distributor managers to specify and sell all category in all regions and territories• Increase sales and gather information on market and creative trends through activity such as pitches, marketing campaigns and attending industry events• Develop new channels of business, including participating in trade shows and PR events and speaking in front of various audiences• Initiate and manage relationships with architecture and design firms to encourage them to specify Dyson products in new building projects.• Develop and implement account-specific business plans, and conduct regular business plan reviews• Build reliable and accurate sales forecasts, orders and other ad-hoc management reports• Have an interest in innovation and entrepreneurship
SkillsOf degree calibre and with experience in a similarly dynamic, senior role in B2B sales, you’ll have a successful track record of generating new business, exceeding KPIs along the way. You’ll also have lots of experience of managing high level commercial negotiations, working cross-functionally and of project management. Most importantly, you’ll also be a self-starter, are motivated and tenacious, and can bring a decisive, positive approach to delivering results.
With the integration of new categories, including Lighting into the Professional portfolio, this will be the key platform for our specification activity and requires a full time BDM with specification sales expertise. Success will depend on your ability to forge relationships with the sales, marketing, finance and operations within Dyson and with external partners. It also requires an appreciation of the importance of selling products on the back of strong technology claims as well as an understanding of the fundamental values behind the Dyson brand.
We are looking for a persistent, driven and engaging professional who –
• Has a university degree and 2-3 years of sales experience with an excellent track record of achievements and strong client relationship management skills• A proven track record of driving specification revenue and profit growth in a well-regarded B2B business • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix management environment where internal stakeholder management, influencing and relationship building skills are vital to operating effectively and getting results• An excellent technical understanding of different technologies and ability to speak fluently with designers about a wide range of technical aspects of general lighting• Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills in both Polish and English (spoken and written), additional skills in Czech, Russian will be an advantage• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs• Has a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to travel within the territory• Is comfortable with travel being an essential part of this job• Has developed professional and effective interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills• Is comfortable with public speaking, presenting technology, and interacting with industry experts• May have prior experience working in property management and/or lighting industries (this will be considered and asset but is not a requirement)• May have experience working with salesforce.com (also an asset but is not a requirement)• Energetic, engaging and positive approach• Good communication and people management skills• Ability to plan, coordinate and prioritize tasks efficiently• Strong analytical and logical thinking• Very good organizational skills• Ability to multitask• The position will require a degree of flexibility to meet client expectations and from time to time this may include evening and weekend events and intrastate travel.• Is able to lift, push and pull up to 15 kg to demonstrate Dyson products in line with «when we show – we win” principle.
