As Dyson’s contactable owner base continues to scale across x27 markets, our Global Owner Campaigns Operations Manager brings together the processes, systems and training enabling markets to scale and optimise delivery of owner communications in direct marketing channels.  

The Global Owner Campaign Operations Manager is an expert in the technology that powers our direct to owner communications, translating complexity into easy to follow processes for market users, dealing with technical/support issues and driving innovation by advancing the use of our toolset.  

As we progress with our growth strategy to 2025, this role also involves driving the adoption of new x-channel marketing technology (e.g. SalesForce Marketing Cloud) across the global business.

About the role

Primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Manage the operations that enable delivery of the global owner communications strategy, aligning with the Global Owner Campaigns Manager and Head of Owner Experience
  • Working collaboratively with experience designers and data teams to enable execution of personalised journeys in owner communication platforms
  • Defining and upholding workflows and processes that ensure the delivery of high-quality owner communications, with a clear focus on measurement & analytics
  • Providing ongoing support, training and guidance to x27 markets who execute owner communications
  • Building, testing, QA-ing automated owner journey flows and providing templates/training/guidance to facilitate journey execution by markets
  • Collaborating closely with IT, data teams and analysts to optimise owner data needed for personalised owner communications
  • Continually working towards more integrated and effective delivery processes to drive higher levels of personalisation in owner communications
  • Create and maintain knowledge base across key platforms (Selligent Message Studio, SalesForce Marketing Cloud)
  • Driving innovation in owner experiences & journeys, unlocking existing platform capability or partnering with new vendors

About you

  • Deep understanding of email marketing and best practices
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in digital martech such as ESPs, DAM
  • Working knowledge on SalesForce Marketing Cloud highly desirable
  • Highly data literate
  • Experience in working with large customer databases (Cloud data, CDPs, CRMs etc.)
  • Experience of working in an agile delivery framework desirable
  • Ability to adapt messaging to the technical level of the audience, with the ability to present technical materials to groups of any size and background
  • Capable of inventing and architecting technological solutions to solve specific marketing challenges
  • Continuous focus on improvement and optimisation
  • Collaborative style focused on solving problems/jointly arriving at solutions
  • Preferable to have working knowledge of digital analytics (GA, Adobe etc)
  • SQL & HTML knowledge desirable, but not essential
  • Empathetic, with ability to work across a range of global markets and cultures
  • Able to balance operational detail with longer-term strategic planning
