The Marketing Team is responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through our communication strategy; increasing brand awareness, brand advocacy and driving conversion. This role is responsible for supporting in delivering the Floor Care (FC) & Environmental Care (EC) P&L across MEA, driving awareness and focus on using credentials to establish Dyson as a serious contender in those sectors. You’ll collaborate with and pull on the expertise of colleagues in media, PR, direct and indirect channels, creative teams, owner experience and work with global teams to provide local commercial contexts to influence strategies.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Support the category lead in advocating and developing the ambition and ideas needed to get the best commercial results

  • Support the Sr Marketing manager to deliver on the P&L by shaping the annual strategic planning process through insight, new ideas and make recommendations about how to improve business performance

  • Ensuring implementation of local market range principles, delivery of strategy to achieve category KPIs

  • Manage categories forecasting to align with budgeting and demand planning for the category

  • Work with Sr Marketing manager to define the category target audience from global segmentation work, media learnings and owner data to trial and optimise approaches; utilise for audience targeting and distribution opportunities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement product updates, including tactical SKUs, range transitions for end of line product to ensure approach is delivered on brief

  • Measure ROI across all marketing activities to drive confidence in decision making

  • Use market insight to influence GTM plans

  • Inspire our direct and indirect channel teams to deliver compelling and engaging marketing initiatives for campaigns and NPD launches

  • Accountable for ensuring the local market has a consistent experience and voice at every touchpoint

  • Conduct competitor and market data analysis, including Go To Market competitor strategies, analysis of product performance claims and media strategies to develop counter strategies.

  • Work effectively with the Global team to ensure that there is alignment on strategic initiatives

  • Develop a strong understanding of the market’s customer opportunity

  • Analyse in-life product and campaign performance with implications for growth strategies.

  • Report on 360 campaign performances to management and Group

  • Conduct routine business analysis including weekly and monthly business reviews and recommendations, as well as ad-hoc analyses of opportunities, best practices, customers and strategy.

Skills & Competencies

  • 2-4 years product or brand marketing experience

  • Experience within the Tech, FMCG or Beauty industry

  • Collaborate and be a team player, have excellent relationships with a network of individuals.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English

  • You will have knowledge of the MEA market, including KSA

  • Capable of managing complex and multiple projects

  • Be able to influence internal and external stakeholders across a wide range of business functions

  • Traditional and Digital media experience preferred

  • Analytical, able to distil data into actionable insight

  • Commercial acumen to deliver against category goals

  • Works well under pressure, able to deal with the fast-changing pace of the business

  • Creative thinker
