About the Role
The Dyson Change Manager is a high calibre change manager, recognised for their leadership and change management capabilities. The change manager will be part of our project to deploy advanced Omnichannel capabilities through a new Distributed Order Management system (DOMS) and delivery management platforms that are integrated with our ERP system and carriers.
The objective of the programme is to enable an “anytime, anywhere, any way” omnichannel shopper experience within Dyson. This will make it possible to meet the shopper’s order requirements flexibly, with more choice for how and when they want it.
About you
- You are capable of leading and taking the organisation on the journey of change, with first class communication and people skills
- You’re commercially astute and used to working collaboratively across a number of different business functions e.g. Supply Chain, Retail, Customer Services, Group IT, Group Commercial and Markets (countries)
- You can take complex issues and manage them simply, with the ability to articulate these back to senior level stakeholders
- You are used to managing projects or being the change lead on multiple projects / programmes
- You’re results driven, resilient, love a challenge and have a starter to finisher mentality. You take accountability for your work, not just focusing on the results, but how you execute your work.

Key Responsibilities
- You will take a change management lead on the programme managing the impacts to the business across markets and the relevant functions impacted within these markets e.g. Direct (Digital, retail), Customer Services, Warehouse and logistics, 3rd Party retail etc. This will include day to day management of the change work required for each capability being deployed. This will include but not be limited to the following: Identification of change impacts and associated actions, Partner with the wider team to ensure business stakeholders are engaged with testing Process mapping Providing training support, including supporting with the review and creation of materials Partnering with key business SMEs Completing business readiness activities including hypercare set up etc. Risks, issues, status reporting and activity tracking.
- Work with the communication and training manager to ensure any change to business processes is well supported from a comms / training perspective.
- Lead on the creation of Change Management tools and templates for the DOMS deployment
- Work closely with the wider team improving how the business executes change driving new ideas, ways of working and best practices.
About You
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain or a related field; Masters degree is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate complex ideas simply at all levels of the organisation
- Process focussed and detail orientated without losing bigger picture
- Quick learner, hands on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities taken on.
- Team player and collaborative in approach
- Agile and prince 2 (Sprint vs waterfall approaches)
- You are an experienced APMG Business Change professional
- Lean/ six sigma certification
- Change management and business readiness professional
- Microsoft packages intermediate + (Excel, Word, PPT, Project, Visio etc)
- Ability to deliver and has a sense of humor under pressure!
Experience:
- Excellent change management skills, using APMG and Lean methodologies to execute change focusing on our people, our processes, the systems and tools they use, whilst ensuring excellent communication throughout the lifecycle and scope.
- At least 5 years’ experience of project management in complex organisations.
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Very strong stakeholder management skills at all levels from exec to front line employees.
- Be able to think holistically and analytically and know when to take which approach.
