About the Role:

The Channel-Sales Analyst will provide actionable reporting of data, analytics and insights to support key sales objectives and drive our channel strategy. Must be capable of utilizing data to support and make recommendations that outline key risks and opportunities. This position requires a high level of collaboration across all internal groups to determine how we can focus, streamline and improve efficiencies throughout the business and build relationship with cross-functional colleagues.

Achieve sales and profit results while driving to the Channel Strategy objectives through the following:

Ongoing Retail Analysis and Channel Reporting:

  • Review ongoing market trends and analysis to support and determine actions that support overall channel strategy; Analyze key trends to optimize assortments and improve efficiencies
  • Prepare presentations and reports to disseminate data to support key decision making
  • Promotional and Financial modeling; preparation of various performance analysis
  • Support Allocation and Supply Constrained decision making w/Channel Managers

Other Responsibilities:

  • Support daily sales responsibilities of the Americas market, working under the direction of our Channel Management/Strategic Sales Team
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, marketing and supply chain to coordinate on business initiatives and provide summaries of key findings and trends
  • Support plans regarding distribution, merchandising, pricing, and product placement 
  • Assess risks and opportunities based on latest supply intel and monthly constraints guidance 
  • Work with National Account Sell In team to measure and manage tracking of distribution, shelving, promotional and merchandising activities leveraging a variety of tools including but not limited to one on one engagement with National Account Sell In team and Sales Directors
  • Identify gaps to budget in distribution, shelving or promotion & escalate to Channel Team
  • Special projects as defined by Channel Manger/Director

About You:

This is what we need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Willing to relocate to Chicago
  • Early Career Role: (1-2 years) in corporate business role, internship or other relevant coursework/experience; some analysis work (financial, sales or marketing) preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to analyze and translate data-based findings into clear, relevant & actionable

    insights, and/or have a deep desire to further develop these skillsets 

  • High level of proficiency in the use of spreadsheets – the ability to quickly understand

business scenarios and model them is critical; process oriented and strategic thinker

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills required
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams 
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills

It would be helpful if you also had some of these:

  • Experience with Retail/Sales analytics
  • Experience working with a sales function preferred
