Dyson is growing at a rapid pace, and the estates team need to not only anticipate this growth, but also ensure that both new and existing properties are set up, operated and maintained to the expected standard. To create this positive and progressive working environment the estates team needs strong administrative support in key areas – catering and events operations is one of these areas.
Our catering team have the challenge of feeding these success hungry employees on a daily basis and providing them with the nutrition they need to see through the day.
The Dyson café team are hard-working and customer focused to ensure all employees onsite receive high class service on a daily basis.
Our Cafe facilities are open 7.30am to 5pm and shifts will fall between these operating hours. Café is operational from 8am – 2pm, Monday – Friday, PH off, serving breakfast and lunch to the employees. The candidate will also from time to time be required to support other events and functions outside of these operation hours.
We emphasize that given the nature of the job, the employee should have a flexible attitude when it comes to working hours. The successful candidate will be working 40.25 hours per week. We are permanently closed on Saturday and Sunday, as well as PH.
Main Job Responsibilities
To support Chef De Parties and Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen•
Positive attitude and enthusiasm to work as part of a team
Preparation and cooking of fresh food
Providing high standards of customer service
Ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and standards are maintained consistently
Stepping up in the absence of one of the Chef De Partiés’
Assisting with on-site functions and events
Maintaining Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
Assisting in all areas of the kitchen
Ensuring daily tasks are delivered efficiently and within a set time frame given
Assisting with stock rotation
Keeping the kitchen clean and orderly*Your responsibilities may be updated as your job role changes
Strong customer skills are paramount, ideally gained from within a similar environment.
Must have a flexible approach to work, with the ability to work well within a team.
Possess clear communication skills, and willingness to improve themselves.
Possess an updated Food Hygiene Certificate is a bonus. #LI-DYSON
