About the Role
Reporting to the Head of eCommerce , this role will be instrumental in delivering best in class owned asset management. You will be responsible for implementing asset optimisations, localisation of global content and turning local cross-category insights into customer journeys that will drive meaningful returns for the business. You will be an expert in effective content creation, SEO and website administration. You will manage site CMS for all marketing content and manage the publishing schedule in partnership with the wider marketing team (both local and global).
You will be part of the ANZ team, working within the Marketing team, bringing our highly innovative technologies and differentiated experiences to our Australians and New Zealanders.
This role is a mix of adapting and optimising globally created product content but also working with the wider business and SEO agency to create / commission insight led local content that resonates with in market consumers.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Developing content strategies based on deep understanding of the consumer journey and search intent
Own the creation and publishing of content on Dyson.com.au and Dyson.co.nz
Managing requests for maintenance of site content when requested by Global Content team
Working closely with brand and marketing to create online experiences that bring their products to life for our potential owners
Working closely with owner experience and customer care to create helpful self-service and troubleshooting experiences for existing owners
Forecasting and reporting for organic channels and contribute to weekly trade meetings
Managing SEO agency to ensure that recommendations are both relevant and actionable
Be an internal advocate for best practice SEO sharing insight and training wider teams
Ensuring accuracy of product information and protecting brand values through ToV – strong attention to detail is vital
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with excellent project management skills and the ability to build strong relationships in multiple cross functional teams. You’re experienced in turning data into engagement strategies that inform new content, optimise existing content and evaluate past content. You can confidently present strategies clearly and jargon-free to help drive meaningful enhancements and possess excellent communication skills and the ability to operate in a global matrix structure with a broad range of stakeholders.
Previous skills & experience:-
4 – 6 years of experience in eCommerce or content, with specific experience with CMS and SEO
Strong technical SEO knowledge, including Schema application, redirection strategy and hreflang application. Must be comfortable guiding Product Owners and developers on platform and UX enhancements to improve SEO hygiene
Experience working with Magento 2 or similar Content Management Systems
Strong analytics skills versed with Google Analytics
Extensive experience with SEO tools inc SEMrush, Botify, ahrefs etc
Working knowledge of CSS and HTML
