Dyson has set a regional office for Southeast Asia in Singapore.  The Singapore office will provide the vision and strategy to Dyson’s business in Southeast Asia, covering key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, and growth/new markets such as Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.

About the Role

We are looking to hire an experienced Corporate Sales and Partnership Manager, based in Singapore, to actively approach targeted business clients in Singapore. Search for new clients leads. Manage relationships with existing clients. Conduct market research (analyse competitors, efficiency of sales strategies) The corporate sales and partnership manager responsibilities include growing the company's revenue, achieve sales, growth target and other key Sales KPI. 

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Business Development and Brand ambassador   

  • Deliver Sales targets for the responsible market by driving channels sell-in and monitor sell-out 
  • Be ambitious and aggressive on business growth not only to current market sectors and business models, but also be agile to adopt and think of new solutions for new opportunities within company guidelines
  • Balance and implement strategies to stimulate demand at the end-customer, be it for Projects or Corp Sales business, indirect or direct selling 
  • Project Business: work with channel partners to fulfill the sell-in plan according to the budget plan; occasionally work towards direct selling for special projects
  • Corporate Sales: Focus on Corporate Sales business including Employee benefits, Corporate gifting, Redemptions, and member programs 
  • Be a brand ambassador for the company - Introduce Dyson and our tailor-made company solutions to target customers in different sectors and business models
  • Provide product demonstrations in person or with channel partners to potential customers
  • Sector focus and Brand/Product Awareness: Identify different sector opportunities for different products. 
  • Participate and implement marketing campaigns and activities online/offline with the support from marketing team

Partner Management:

  • Implement company brand guidelines and provide direction to channel partners; ensuring transparency and control of the sell-out channels to avoid disruption in the markets
  • Manage the channel partners to implement sell-in plans according to forecast and planning 
  • Distribution system optimization: Recruit and maintain distributors/partners according to their sales performance, integrity & loyalty, cost management, creativity etc with scorecard reviews quarterly
  • Equip the channel partners: provide product and sales training regularly, offer proper sales tools/marketing support; 
  • Organize joint calls with distributors for potential C-suite level meetings to help spot out new opportunities in new sectors/new markets
  • Negotiation: Act as a gate keeper for discounts/support with distributors, and end customers. 
  • Protect the brand and make sure no misuse or over use from channel partners. All business related matters has to be monitored and reported to us from the channel partners.

Direct Channel:

  • End to end management with stakeholders/key decision makers/ influencers
  • Proactively find leads and follow through
  • Be creative and resilient, proactively collaborate with internal teams to get necessary resources
  • Work strategically to build long term relationships with corporations and XL customers, so repetitive business can be set for stable growth

Business Forecast and Reporting:


  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts of each channel
  • Work with Sales Operations for production plans to ensure sufficient stock in each market/channel
  • Provide marketing insights and trends, spot out opportunities/risk , then provide evaluation with possible solutions and growth plans
  • Regular communication with marketing, sales operations, technical, and brand communication teams to ensure lean processes, drive efficiency, cost savings, and maximize profitability
  • Work closely with the Sales leads ensuring full transparency, on-going reporting, and open communication at all times.
  • Timely report if there are urgent and important issues /conditions

About You

  • 7+ years' experience in Sales roles with solid sales tracking record.
  • Hospitality, project management, tendering, B2B experience is preferred; (high end product/high value product selling experience preferred)
  • Experience in growing new business, selling new products or working with A&D / contractors / FM will be a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • Have a positive can-do attitude, hard working, and able to take on and overcome challenges
  • Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities/risk and sales patterns
  • Planning, organization and problem solving skills
  • Be open minded, transparent to management, willing to try new things
  • Experience with a strong brand (understand the value of branding), high end products (balance high selling price against cost driven sales)
