About the Role: 

The Singapore Country Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the country P&L to drive and deliver high performance, reporting directly to the Managing Director SEA/India.


  • Responsible for delivering monthly sales volumes and communicating to the SEA leadership team and wider business on any changes to budget, target or LE.
  • Manage business to maximize profitability. Complete ownership of costs and other overheads in line with P&L plans.
  • Establish strongest possible commercial relationships with key customers & local partners.
  • Build appropriate channel differentiation strategy and deliver profit.
  • Identify key opportunities for growth and work with the SEA leadership team members to build out plans to meet these.
  • Network with key stakeholders at Group and across APAC to deploy the business plans.
  • Recruiting, training and managing a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop strategies in partnership with counterparts to deliver both in-store and online sales.

About You:

  • Singapore Citizen with 10+ years of work experience in a sales focused role, as P&L owner for a company, or as a leader of a significant business segment within.
  • Past experience working with established multinational companies.
  • Experience demonstrating a start-up mentality will be advantageous.
  • Commercial – sales/marketing experience, with a proven track record of results.
  • Proven P&L track record
  • Evidence of budget control and financial understanding.
  • A leader of people able to energize and build a team to deliver ambitious growth targets while managing with some ambiguity.
