About the Role

As the Creative Lead for ANZ you will oversee all creative and marketing for the ANZ market. At the core of the role, you’ll be applying global assets to local channels and ensuring that these assets are applied correctly, consistently and in line with our visual identity guidelines. That means you will understand our brand, our philosophy and ethos inside out and use this understanding to create effective Dyson experiences adapted for the ANZ consumer.

Your strength of experience includes branding and adherence to guidelines, an eye for design and layout details, finished art and production skills, working with third party production and creative/digital agencies, knowledge of online advertising and social platforms content with e-commerce skills a bonus, retail activations, shopper marketing and experiential design, and strong leadership and cross team collaboration skills.

You will run the studio alongside the Traffic Manager, ensuring it is always performing at an optimum level and with visibility across all marketing and creative executions. With a small team, you will need to be hands on. Designing, directing, advising, reviewing and artworking. You will be accountable for the studio’s creative output.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-

  • Work to creative direction from Group and lead local development of adapted Global asset executions in the market

  • Drive design execution work for a broad range of items throughout the customer journey, including Shopper Marketing, (brochures, trade incentives, in-store POS, promotions), PR, Experiential, Digital (including owned Social Media channels) through strong working relationships across all functions of the business

  • Presenting work to brief owners and senior stakeholders – articulating ideas and confidently defending proposals with reasoned and evidenced arguments

  • Channel integration: Appreciate each type of media and what they can bring to the overall campaign and ensure that the work is integrated (either creatively or if not certainly strategically) across all the media channels 

  • Leading, developing and managing a studio creative team - manage, mentor and review individuals performances against set goals

  • Work with third party production agencies on translation and trans-creation of global assets to suit local market requirements

About You

You will have an appreciation of graphic and visual design principles, layout skills, typography setting and grid systems and the ability to work well under pressure. You are solutions oriented and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Previous skills and experience:-

  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience in a head of design position leading a brand creatively

  • Proven experience of presenting creative work and influencing decision makers at the highest levels

  • Experience in leading a team of creative professionals

  • Proven experience of managing large workloads

  • Extensive knowledge of creative/design software tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Sketch

  • Knowledge of the Censhare Asset management system and pdf workflows

  • Experience in storyboarding, art directing shoots (video and photo)
