About the Role:

At Dyson, we sell by demonstrating. Our Experts, Stylists and Retail Strategy and Operations team are Dyson advocates who know our technology inside out and are excited by it. They are the face of Dyson, connecting our world-leading and pioneering technology with shoppers and owners.

They understand the importance of consultation and ensuring that customers are well informed and are guided to select the right product to solve their problems. Responsibilities:

  • Driving sales through world class demonstrations
  • Provide the ultimate shopper experience in an engaging and well-informed professional manner
  • Understand the shopper’s needs through discovery and consultation to identify the appropriate products to address their needs and desires
  • Act as the in-store representative for all Dyson products
  • Educate Retail Sales Associate partners and shoppers on specific product features and benefits on various technology
  • Perform operational duties such as visual merchandising, maintaining display cleanliness, replenishing stock, and other related activities
  • Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with Dyson’s culture
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
  • As this role includes a sales-based bonus program, you must be able to achieve or exceed personal sales and productivity standards

About You:

  • The role is a pure customer facing role where you would have to interact with the customers to sell Dyson products. You will gain practical knowledge on how to put sales theory to practice. Being face of Dyson, you are expected to give the best customer experience through quality demos.
  • The role will be based out of Dyson owned store. The Demo Expert will play crucial part in maintaining in-store branding & carving out business for Dyson in such a competitive space.
  • Excellent English communication skills, adapting your style to suit the customer and their needs
  • Be able to provide excellent customer service that goes above and beyond, solving problems that other retailers ignore
  • A passion for technology and understanding how things work
  • Strong influencing, relationship building and fact-finding skills
  • Creative and innovative – able to think differently and work off own initiative
  • Proven ability to hit targets and exceed results through delivering great customer service
  • Experience in demonstrating a product or bringing a new product to market
  • Able to work effectively as a team member
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
