About us
An exciting opportunity to join a new product development team within Dyson. We are looking for a talented Design Engineer, this is your chance to work within an extremely fast paced environment where innovation and creativity are the rule, not the exception. Help define a new team, a new way of working, joining a collaborative and delivery focused atmosphere. There are excellent career development prospects for the right person.
About the role
A wonderful opportunity to get involved in a unique and challenging new venture within RDD. Dyson is expanding and capitalising on its fantastic global reach achieved within Haircare, creating a new product development team to reach its ‘double Dyson’ ambitions. As a Design Engineer within the Dyson ‘New Ventures’ R&D team you will be essential to an ‘end to end’ development process not centralised at the UK site for some years, whereby you will work on a portfolio of projects from early concepts, right through to production. You will have a direct accountability on the full design, build, test, analyse…and productionise cycle with a large dose of supplier liaison activity thrown in! With a new team comes a new category and business structure, that means as an early adopter you will also help define and gain opportunities to influence the culture and even help to define its procedures and best practice.
We are a small, hardworking team, with massive opportunities, extreme growth with little to no barriers to VP and higher-level exposure; your work and contribution will matter and have a major impact to our success! We are looking for an equally motivated, autonomous individual willing to take on a challenge that will reward you with learning and growth, rewarding you as a creative Engineer with many productionised projects under your belt, within a more immediate span of time.
