About the role

The Digital Analyst will be responsible for driving digital insights analytics across the eCommerce business in Germany. Working with the eCommerce Director and Channel Leads  he/she will lead digital analytics at a local market level, supporting, Marketplace channels and digital 3rd Party retailers.  

Working with a cross functional team both within Germany and with Regional and Global functions, he/she will not only complete briefs from key market stakeholders for analytics and insight, but also proactively look for things that could or should be improved.  In support of, the post holder will support the business’s daily trading approach and also work with the Experience team to drive long term improvements to user journeys and user experience. Whilst supporting the Digital 3rd Party Retail business, the post holder will analyse data supplied by our retailers and recommend conversion-driving improvements to the online experience.

Main accountabilities and supporting activities:

  • Working across several digital data sources such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to produce optimisation recommendations for our digital experience

  • Ensuring that the reporting & analysis needs of the business stakeholders are delivered to agreed requirements and timelines

  • Designing, building and deploying reports, dashboards and analytical solutions that drive operational efficiency using best practise design and visualisation techniques

  • Support our paid media activity on search and social by making data led recommendations

  • Deep dive analysis around key projects and campaigns

Fulfil other duties as required

  • Pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role

  • Fix things that you can see need fixing

  • Identify problems and find solutions.

About you


  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics & Adobe Analytics

  • Excellent Excel skills essential

  • Develop visualisations that are easy to understand and digest

  • Excellent communication skills and building strong business relationships with key stakeholders

  • Ability to manipulate large and complex data sets

  • Experience in digital analytics (2+ years) required ideally in a D2C environment

  • Experience of using visualisation software e.g. Tableau desirable
