About the role

At Dyson our Owner is central to everything we do, every role in Dyson centres on making sure that owners are getting fantastic experience, every day. Central to our success will be our ability to embed and deliver throughout the organisation a culture of data based decision making in our eCom plans. This role will directly work with the market team to deliver our commercial targets. This role will support teams to make quick data-based decisions to hit top and bottom line targets working across the Ecom equation- traffic, CRO and AOV. This role reports into eCom leadership in market but will work closely with digital analysts in markets and the regional team as well as data teams within our group and global design function.

Primary Accountabilities

Dyson is a fast and agile company, below is an example of your main accountabilities but is not a complete list.

  • Business partner Ecommerce trading and merchandising on Dyson.com and marketplaces, you’ll work closely with these teams to help improve performance through data-based recommendations, this will could include i) managing and delivering reports as part of trading cycle ii) working with marketing, finance and supply teams on combining data sets to drive faster and better decision making iii) deep dives based on hypothesis into parts of consumer journey

  • Conversion and Site Performance: Run deep dives on parts of our website to find areas where we can improve performance. Share these insights with platform team and commercial teams as needed to drive change.

  • Traffic Optimisation: Work in partnership with media teams, SEO, CRM and eCom teams to optimised and improve traffic performance and traffic journeys to our website

  • Champion the use of data based decision making at all times, in doing this you’ll train and develop teams on data understanding and capability, we want everyone to have data fluency

  • Deliver eCom centred deep dives on key market and regional campaigns and priorities, eg Summer heatwave. In doing this you’ll bring together insights and conclusions using multiple data sources

  • Deliver high quality, actionable insights that make recommendations on how to improve our business

  • Build visualisations directly and in partnership with BI teams: Bring analytics of our Dyson.com business and stories to life for markets and regional teams.

  • From time to time support group teams and data quality teams in the managing of our data systems

About you

Competencies

  • 2-3 years’ experience in analytics. Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Campaign Manager is highly advantageous, experience with either Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is essential.

  • Additional experience with tableau, python etc is advantageous  as is experience with Adobe stack and Hybris.

  • Intermediate excel skills. Comfortable with complex data, creating models and analysyis from different data sources

  • Strong communicator: Able to clearly communicate technical analytics in and tell data-based stories that drive action. In doing this you can translate digital terms into top and bottom line benefit eg cost savings and additional revenue.

  • Fluent in English. An additional EMEA language is an added benefit

  • Proactive and curious in approach, happy exploring hypothesis and developing these into recommendations that improve the status quo regardless on if these have been briefed or not. Does not need to always have clear briefs, will take on challenges to explore how we can improve performance
