United Kingdom - Malmesbury Office

About Us

Dyson is a creative technology company with a global and iconic identity. Our mission is simple: We solve problems others ignore with exciting new technologies which defy convention. Communicating our products’ superiority with brevity and presenting ourselves in the right way is essential to selling, protecting identity, and building our hard-earned reputation.

The team and context

The ‘Go-to-Market Team’ is one of three core teams in the ‘Dyson Experience Group’. Its central role is to take product and/or market specific visual communications strategies from the Product Visual Communications Team and create fully integrated campaigns that populate all consumer journey touch points.

About The Role

  • Working within in a category specific team, you’ll collaborate with campaign and advertising creatives, and commercial managers to develop concepts and assets that present a consistent message, drive engagement, and convert consideration to purchase.
  • You’ll be responsible for creating digital strategies, crafting stories and narratives, and producing digital assets for a variety of digital channels, i.e., our global website and digital retail platforms, digital display advertising, 3rd party retailer assets and eCRM communications.
  • Primarily, you’ll be designing global master assets and templates for junior digital creatives to then take on and produce final assets for our local market teams to push campaigns live in 80+ markets around the world. Also, you’ll help to nurture our junior creatives and ensure the assets they produce are delivered to a high quality, ‘Dyson’ standard and that the final build delivers your creative vision.
  • These digital assets must connect seamlessly with all other facets of the campaign, communicating our performance superiority, setting us apart from the competition and building a customer journey that is compelling and accessible.

  • Ensuring all work is in line with Dyson brand values and follows the relevant brand and design guidelines. Creative thinking that takes already established product creative strategy and translates that into dynamic digital creative executions. Working with other creatives, brainstorming, and sharing ideas. Working with the Senior Digital Creative/Creative Lead to design and produce wider design requirements in-line with design direction across appropriate digital channels. Whilst reporting into your category line manager, also take creative direction from the Digital Creative Director to ensure consistency and coherence across all Dyson communications. Confidently presenting your work with clarity to relevant stakeholders. Continuous development and honing of the technical abilities relevant to the role. As part of the next stage of career progression, beginning to develop the skills required to manage, coach and direct more junior creatives. Ensuring that deadlines are met and that all work is on-brand and on-brief.

About You

  • You understand how digital creative connects to other media channels and forms a joined-up, compelling customer experience. You have 2–3 years’ experience of working as part of a wider team to deliver campaigns that work regardless of media, all of which is demonstrable through an excellent portfolio of past work for leading or interesting brands.
  • You have experience, of designing responsive digital content that works across different devices (mobile, tablets, apps), as well as a good understanding of which platform works best for any given requirement.
  • You understand information architecture and can demonstrate user interface design skills. Basic development skills are an advantage in informing the work you produce and facilitating the transition from design to build. A true ‘visual’ communicator, you’re excited by all things ‘Art and Design’ and you find inspiration from a wide range of sources - utilising mocked-up imagery and film storyboards and other mood boards to support your thinking and add weight to your ideas.
