About the role

As a member of the Direct Retail team, you will support the Head of Direct Retail in defining and implementing retail marketing activity plans, with the aim of ensuring best in class experience while respecting Dyson principles and guidelines.   

 

You will manage the marketing budget, coordinate NPD launches and product campaigns. You will be responsible to measure all activities and make sure you generate a positive return on investment.   

 

You will also be asked to lead on special projects and to be a role model for your colleagues, providing support and guidance when needed. 

 

Key responsibilities 

 

Retail Marketing 

  • Manage the retail marketing calendar, including new product launches, seasonal and peak campaigns, store openings and always-on visibility  

  • Aligning closely with the Marketing and E-Commerce teams to execute successful campaigns, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience to drive sell-out 

  • Raise awareness for the Dyson Demo Stores and Mall Demo Zones through a cross-channel strategy including events, press activities, media partners and influencers 

  • Develop the retail media strategy in collaboration with the agency, running offline (OOH, DOOH), digital (search, social, display) and other innovative campaigns 

  • Measure the impact of the marketing activities by observing traffic development, sell out data and other relevant KPIs 

  • Be the owner of the store marketing annual budget and take decisions based on performance 

 

Store development 

  • Contribute to successful Dyson Demo Store openings throughout the year, covering various topics from operations to marketing  

  • Plan, activate and manage the implementation of new Dyson Mall Demo Zones across Germany 

  • Support existing stores with the creation of promotional assets and merchandising updates 

About you

  • Min. 2 years’ proven experience in retail, marketing and/or events management 

  • Fluent in English and German 

  • Proven track record of executing new product launches and events in a retail environment 

  • Experience working with external agencies, suppliers and cross functional teams in complex fast moving international organization 

  • Capable individual with the bandwidth to manage autonomously complex and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to use shopper/retail/market data and turn it in to meaningful insight 

  • Ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines     

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
