About the Role:
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES-
Operations, Systems and IT
Collaborate closely with Operations Process Owners to ensure processes are defined with clear guidance, KPIs, and governance mechanisms, driving to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and improve effectiveness through process optimization
Coordinate & deploy new tools and processes (Ie. payments, QR, demo apps, Omni services) inclusive of R&D to drive continuous improvements for customers & company
Coordinating System requirements with the Global team: alarm, security, inventory, IT, Payment, etc.
Managing key vendors, including, but not limited to, Mood Media, Retail Next, Clientela, MyPOS, Bunzl
Implement review and governance processes to ensure legal compliance and trading to Global Retail Operations best practice
Support the Senior Operations Manager to manage the operational expense budget, contributing to cost optimization efforts
Promote a process-driven culture aiming to make all stores compliant with standards like PCI DSS and conduct internal audits, business continuity plans, and H&S risk assessments
Inventory Management
Lead the day-to-day inventory management program, including:
Forecasting to ensure stores maintain healthy levels of inventory to support sales plans and business KPIs
Manage inventory processes with a focus on automation
Ensuring shrink is kept within pre-agreed targets
Retail Store Support
Ensure clear and effective communication between Operations and store teams, utilizing multiple forums and platforms
Leading the centralisation of Americas documentation & guidelines to guide markets and stores on operational processes & policies
Be the lead contact for each market on how stores operate: partnering with the Education Team to train store teams on operational procedures, compliance mechanisms, and the rollout of new retail services
Oversee break/fix processes, working with vendors and internal teams where required to ensure timely resolutions to store requests
Retail Development
Key task force operations lead for expansion ensuring smooth launches; managing the operational tasks related to new openings, ensuring timely follow up action to open successfully on time and within budget
Manage and/or assist in complex and time sensitive projects for various business needs including retail development, new product launches, etc.
Other Requirements
Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs., potentially overhead
Travel is approximately 20%+
About You:
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years in retail operations or retail project management
1+ years in providing general administrative support
Previous retail experience in the field is strongly preferred
Marketing and events experience a plus
Genuine passion for providing outstanding service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organized with attention to detail and accuracy with exceptional follow-up
Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and re-prioritize work as needed
Ability to exercise sound judgment and independent decision making
Demonstrates an aptitude of understanding retail and the overall business function
Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information
Advanced in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Previous experience with SAP strongly preferred
