A true household name, Dyson introduced the bagless vacuum and now offers hand dryers, bladeless fans, air purifiers and hairdryers. Today, vacuums represent just half of our sales and our next few years are set to be our busiest yet with four brand new product categories by 2020. Dyson machines work differently, so those who sell them need to think differently and understand complex engineering.

We have exciting opportunities to work at our premium retail stores in high end malls across the country.  We are looking for highly motivated, engaging people capable of working well in a team to drive excellent execution at this store and deliver superlative customer experience. In addition to retail, the store will also host exclusive customer and influencer events. Staff will play a key role in ensuring that these events showcase our technology and drive excitement about our products.

Description

  • A passion for Dyson technology and mastery of the brand and its machines.
  • Setting an example on the shop floor, proactively approaching customers in store and demonstrating the Dyson product range according to their needs and requirements. Trading up through the product range as appropriate.
  • Accountability for store operations, holding keys to open and close the store.
  • Leading the shop floor team when managing the shift
  • Ensuring a safe shopping environment for our customers
  • Ensuring the Dyson machines and display are tidy, clean and ‘shoppable’, ensuring that we maintaining the highest of standards at all points throughout the day.
  • Sharing best practice demonstrations to strengthen the overall shop floor behaviours of the team
  • Actively building relationships with the team and the wider support channels to further the success of the Dyson Concession
  • Meeting and exceeding sales, demonstration & KPI targets.
  • Be in charge of reporting your daily results via a dedicated platform
  • Be accountable for the store, the team and ensure compliance with company standards on your shifts
  • Mentoring new starters and assisting in their development

Person Specification

  • Be able to provide excellent customer service that goes above and beyond, solving problems that other retailers ignore
  • Experience in keyholding for a retail business & leading teams
  • A passion for technology and understanding how things work
  • Strong influencing, relationship building and fact finding skills
  • Proven ability to hit targets and exceed results through delivering great customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Can easily adapt to change in process and ways of working
