Reporting to the Global Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Director, this role is responsible for creating and coordinating D&I communications, creative assets and event activities. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new global D&I team, you’ll provide specialist support in this role and help deliver initiatives that engage and celebrate our diverse global workforce.

About the Role

  • Responsible for the global D&I calendar of events and observances, working with the D&I team as well as Dyson’s employee resource groups, to plan and coordinate activities each year.
  • Developing organisational communications that include but are not limited to; internal employee memos, copy employee engagement programs, and internal presentations. 
  • Work with internal and external communications teams to establish clear communication structures and channels to promote global/local diversity and inclusion messages.
  • Responsible for ensuring that D&I messages are appropriately cascaded across internal and external channels in a timely manner, as per any communication plan.
  • Develop new ways to engage our diverse global workforce and maximise their participation in D&I events and initiatives.
  • Produce creative briefs for artwork and videos, working with internal teams/external suppliers to commission, coordinate and fulfil these within timescales and budget.
  • Produce digital creative assets in line our global D&I visual identity, such as SharePoint tiles, thumbnails, quick links and newsletters.
  • Source guest speakers for D&I events and shortlist these for approval.
  • Maintain the global D&I SharePoint site and help build the resources available to employees.
  • Support D&I Managers when required to gather employee feedback to develop actions and improve culture.
  • Coordinate monthly D&I team updates and write copy for board updates, management reporting packs and UK comms.

About you

  • You’ll have previous experience with diversity best practices, concepts and programmes and have demonstrated the ability to engage diverse and global audiences.
  • Familiarity with the latest employee engagement platforms, technologies and tools, and how best to use them for a diverse global workforce.
  • Have experience developing and executing internal employee events and activities, such as training and global/multicultural events.
  • You’ll have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive relationships by collaborating with others, managing interpersonal dynamics to achieve positive results
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Open minded & inquisitiveness regarding developments within diversity, inclusion and belonging space.
  • Meets deadlines, prioritises appropriately, copes well with change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to deliver on projects while working across different time zones.
  • English language skills are essential, we welcome any additional language skills.
