Our people are focused on enabling hardware and software to work together, developing intelligent machines which understand and react to their environment to deliver superior performance.  To this end, we invest over £7m per week into research and development and have over 200 live technology projects as well as 50 active research programmes with 40 universities.  We plan to spend £100m over the next three years on external technology investments and have pledged to invest £1bn in the development of next generation battery technology.  There is plenty to talk about.

About the Role

Dyson Experts spend their time in retail demonstrating why Dyson is different to shoppers. Dyson Experts are required to portray the following qualities:

  • Have good product knowledge 
  • Consistently deliver best-in-class demonstrations 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Demonstration techniques 
  • Retail Guidelines execution
  • Practice Dyson behaviours 
  • Achieve sell-out targets
  • Adherence to Handbook guidelines 
  • Tracking giving feedback to the management on market insights 
  • Track competitor activity 
  • Provide management with insights and recommendations on how to improve performance against competitors

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years of in-person retail selling experience
  • Experience working with technology and prestige luxury brands an asset
  • Ambitious and self-motivated sales individual who exudes charisma and confidence
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, exceeding quotas
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours
  • Ability to work retail hours (standard, peak, holiday)
  • Ability to work well with others and establish strong relationships within Dyson as well as with our third-party retail partners
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with adaptable approach to selling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and understands when to seek guidance
  • Comfortable with computer skills in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook etc
