About The Role
Job Summary Dyson have an ambitious expansion plan to evolve to a model where 80% of sales are through direct & controlled channels . This role will be based in the Group Dyson Demo Store team, working for the Global VP, Dyson Demo Stores, and closely with the Global Retail Property Development Director, Global Creative Director, Global Retail Experience Director, Global Retail Operations Director and various stakeholders in the wider Group Commercial team, RDD and the markets, including MDs and Heads of Direct. The role will rely on the ability to develop outstanding relationships with others, act as a business partner and adviser to senior stakeholders up to exec level and ensure that Dyson retail and events always delivers an exceptional brand experience.
Our Supervisor will play a key role in the store’s success and will report to the Assistant Store Manager. You will work with the Management team to contribute to a smooth day to day running of the store and guide the team in the absence of Store Management. You will deliver outstanding customer experiences that fascinate shoppers through the presentation and demonstration of our machines. Behind the scenes, you will see any potential challenges and provide ideas to overcome these.
Roles and Responsibilities
Act as a support/link between Store Management and the team whilst taking accountability for some elements of the day to day running of the store
Lead by example and support the team to deliver an environment that heroes our machines, delivering best in class demonstrations and experiences
Together with the Assistant Store Manager, review store results to understand the store and customers behaviour to deliver business growth
Be an expert in our technology and support the launch of new products and services
When required opening and closing of the store
Continuously build product knowledge and keep updated of any product developments, while supporting the team to do the same
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Proven understanding of retail and experience in supporting the day to day operations of a store
Work in a collaborative style with a passion to always deliver a 5 star customer experience while driving commercial results
Proven ability communicating and engaging with stakeholders
Able to solve problems and/or challenge convention at a day to day level
An understanding of in-store operations including managing work schedules and stock management
Ideally have an understanding of the beauty industry
