About the role


You’ll be the go-to data and insights SME for our 3rd Party channels ensuring we build consistent dashboards using third-party data sources to track performance each and every day. You’ll provide transparency on the performance of our direct marketplaces, social commerce, live shopping and digital retail channels. Everywhere Dyson sells on third-party sites. Reporting into the Head of Direct Analytics, you will:

  • Lead analysis across direct marketplaces, digital retail, social commerce and live shopping channels

  • Support the Global Daily Trading Meeting with analysis and insights as required 

  • Create and run analysis for monthly channel reviews to highlight performance issues and track against KPIs

  • Create reports for quarterly business reviews with global presidents and market MDs

  • Be the SME on a programme to create, scale and maintain globally consistent dashboards and reports to reduce manual reporting in market, enable daily analysis and actionable insights 

  • Ensure our price tracking and experience auditing partner deliver accurate data and meet their data quality SLAs

  • Maximise the use of our reporting tools by providing regular training clinics for our market leads

  • Create data-driven deep-dives to inform market strategy, trouble-shoot performance issues

  • Deliver regular reporting of performance over peak periods such as Black Friday, 11.11 and other peaks

  • Innovate and ensure we stay ahead of the curve in the analytics and reporting space for our channels


About you


Success in this role requires excellent analytical thinking and communication skills, an ability to summarise results and present recommendations to business partners, project management skills and a passion for continuous improvement. You will have:

  • Commercially focused analytical skills (ecommerce equation, financial, rate of sale, return on investment analysis)

  • Experience working with analytical and reporting tools

  • Working knowledge of tagging (including UTM), social commerce platforms, to track performance

  • Experience of SQL, GCP, Looker and/or Tableau would be an advantage

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build narratives from data and present findings to project teams & senior stakeholders – to drive actionable change for the better

  • The bandwidth to manage complex/multiple content projects across global markets

  • Strong initiative and bias for action - wanting and taking accountability

  • The ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload, leading on multiple projects

  • Strong team player, approachable and supportive
