About the role
Reporting into the Head of Direct Analytics, you will provide analytical support to the business specific to the Direct eCommerce channel.
Working with colleagues in both Group & Market, you’ll need to be confident in building working relationships with key stakeholders and gain a deep understanding of the shopper journey on Dyson.com in order to help drive action and improvements from the insights that you deliver. You will also be:
Using data-driven methodologies, understand and identify the stages within the sales funnel, looking at performance of landing pages, journey through site, reasons for exit, conversion paths, order tracking, machine registrations, owner support journeys, spares & accessories, re-purchase etc.
Analysing available data, including sales information, behavioural metrics and session replay data, to identify the key drivers within the sales funnel and proactively recommend developments to Dyson.com and commercial improvements
Seeking to understand, and communicate through the data, the key journeys within the purchase funnel, how different customers interact with the website and identify levers to influence desirable behaviours
Supporting the Product Owner Team to understand the impact of new developments implemented onsite
Managing, maintaining and adding to the suite of Standard Dashboards held in Adobe Analytics, to ensure all relevant teams can self-serve on key metrics
Working closely with the wider Direct Trading team and other key stakeholders to understand the business objectives and trading strategy to ensure standardised reporting is fit for purpose
Scrutinising the eCommerce data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvements to the data & reporting suite and work with the Digital Tracking team to implement new tracking where required
Collaborating with other analysts and data owners both internally and externally to ensure best practice sharing.
About you
Success in this role requires excellent analytical thinking and communication skills, an ability to summarize results and present recommendations to business partners, project management skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
Experience using web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
Experience of using other tools, such as Looker, Big Query, Decibel, would be an advantage
Strong communication skills with an ability to build narratives from data and present findings to project teams & senior stakeholders – driving actionable change for the better
Solution oriented, focussed on improvement opportunities and confident to voice recommendations
Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Enjoy collaborating with like-minded Data Scientists and analysts
