About the Role

The E-commerce Executive will report to the E-Commerce Trading Manager and will plan and deliver projects and trading activities (e.g. Winter Sales, Black Friday) to drive the performance and support the growth of the Direct Online channel. He/she will also be the key operational contact for daily trading activities and daily stock management.

We run our E-Commerce business using the E-Commerce Equation - traffic x conversion x average order value - and this role will have accountability working across all three of these areas. Capable of strategic planning but not afraid to get hands on, this is a great opportunity for E-commerce Executive to apply skills in a real 360 role, providing scope and opportunity to be at the forefront of growing and developing the market in Italy.

This role is expected to work closely with a network of e-commerce, digital, marketing and supply colleagues based in Dyson’s global as well as local functions.

  • Daily Trading Approach: analyse and determine actions/opportunities from various reports and datasets with the main aim of driving volume and conversion

  • Leveraging analytics insights and data (Adobe Analytics and internal tools) ensure optimization guidelines are followed & standards met to ensure optimization of conversion goals & objectives

  • Leverage operational insights & global best practices to influence the optimization of campaign customer journeys and path to purchase

  • Develop, plan and execute product trading campaigns and oversee onsite pricing

  • Sales and Forecast: help to manage demand and forecast, closely work with commercial team and all function teams to ensure business delivery vs target

  • Administration of stock and sell through management, forecasting and planning

About You

  • Relevant degree with strong e-commerce knowledge and experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in e-commerce or digital activities

  • Organisational or project management skills in an international commercial environment

  • Project Management: scheduling, tracking, reporting

  • Project oriented and Innovation minded

  • Multitasking ability - Able to work under pressure

  • Accuracy, reliability & vigilant attention to detail

  • Proactivity, ability to quickly adapt into a new organisation and high energy level

  • Experience of account or channel management

  • Trading on E-Commerce Web Shop/ Marketplace / Pure Players is a plus

  • Strong excel skills

  • Prior knowledge of Adobe Analytics would be advantageous but not essential

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Collaborative: you’re comfortable collaborating will colleagues and peers across countries, cultures and levels of seniority

  • Fluent in English – Italian is a plus
